These intricate silver filigree earrings were handmade in Oaxaca City, Mexico by two of the country's best craftsmen, Juan Manuel Garcia Esperanza and his son, JoséJorge Garcia Garcia. Both are considered "grand masters" of their art, are award winning and often are requested to create worksfor the Mexican government to give as gifts to visitingdignitaries.
I was serendipitously introduced to themwhile in Oaxaca City andgraciouslyinvited to their "taller" (workshop) to see them work and view their art. Watching them create was mesmerizing yet this finished pair of earrings accented with lovely pearls is even more so. They will delight you!
